Earlier this month, Business Enterprise Appraisal Company's President Mr. Larry Grant addressed the San Fernando Valley Bar Association, his topic was: Valuation Of Distressed Businesses and Real Properties in the COVID-19 Era. 

 

The points discussed in his online webinar included the appraisal procedure to be followed in determining Fair Market Values as of current dates of value, and the importance of selecting the effective valuation date.   

 

Also addressed were several examples of our firm's current assignments, and why these businesses and real properties have declined in value in recent months. And importantly, the steps an appraiser would follow to estimate their value now and in the future.
